Captain Crunch Cookies

The original recipe for twice the above ingredients. This recipe makes about two dozen 1.5-inch diameter cookie. 1 cup butter 3 / 4 cups white sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1.5 cups Captain Crunch Cereal 1 cup chocolate chips (optional) Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Flour and baking powder, then cereal and chocolate chips, mix with spoon until well mixed. It is dry and crumbly. Roll into small tribes, 1 mm in diameter and breaksmall pieces. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 325 F for about 20 minutes or until the end of the cookies are light brown. The cookies are not so far do not spread too much space between them. 3 / 4 cup butter, softened

Sugar 1 cup confectioners'

2 places unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled

1 / 4 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 1 / 2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Cookie Icing

Chocolate Drizzle

Directions

In a large bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar. Beat in theChocolate and mint extract. Gradually into the flour. Stir in the chocolate chips (dough will be soft).

Drop by spoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking paper type sheet. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes or until firm. Cool completely.

Cookie Icing

2 tablespoons butter, softened

Sugar 1 cup confectioners'

1 tablespoon milk

1 / 4 teaspoon peppermint extract

1 to 2 drops of food coloring

Place in a bowl, combine all ingredients and spreadover the cooled cookies. Let set.

Chocolate Drizzle

Melt in a microwave safe bowl, chocolate chips and shortening in microwave, smooth move. Drizzle over cookies.

Makes 54 cookies.

Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake are lightly browned for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges. Cool completely.

Makes 72 cookies.
