Captain Crunch Cookies

The original recipe for twice the above ingredients. This recipe makes about two dozen 1.5-inch diameter cookie. 1 cup butter 3 / 4 cups white sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1.5 cups Captain Crunch Cereal 1 cup chocolate chips (optional) Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Flour and baking powder, then cereal and chocolate chips, mix with spoon until well mixed. It is dry and crumbly. Roll into small tribes, 1 mm in diameter and breaksmall pieces. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 325 F for about 20 minutes or until the end of the cookies are light brown. The cookies are not so far do not spread too much space between them.
